Welcome to the web home of the H. Smith Richardson Women's Golf Association (HSRWGA), Fairfield, CT.  HSRWGA is a golf association founded in 1972 for Women who love golf and want a fun and competitive forum for playing 18 holes of golf.  We are located at the H. Smith Richardson Golf Course, 2425 Morehouse Hwy., Fairfield, CT, 06824, near exit 44 of the Merrit Parkway.  We have approximately 100 members.  Membership is open to any women who would like to join (residents have preferred sign up privileges for block tee times on Thursdays).   Recommended handicap index levels can be discussed.   Handicaps are kept as a member of the Connecticut State Golf Association GHIN system.  Scores may be posted on any course GHIN system computer or at home on-line at www.GHIN.com . Tournaments are played from late April until early October.  Most tournaments, except majors can be played any day between Thursday-Sunday in the company of another member.

 A nine-hole group is established at H. Smith Richardson as well for those interested in that format (contact Maura Faughn faugtmcb@optonline.net ).  A South Pine Creek Par 3 group is also available, an application for both can be obtained at the Fairfield Recreation Center.
