The Southern New England Women's Golf Association (SNEWGA) promotes golf for women within the state of Connecticut and neighboring states.  SNEWGA membership is open to all women's associations from public, semi-private and private golf clubs with no limitations on handicaps. 

SNEWGA is a women's golf association currently with 39 member clubs and over 750 individual members.  The cost of membership is $30 per club annually and $10 for individual membership ($12 after spring meeting).  Individual members must be a member of a member club.

There are six Major Tournaments each year and several invitational events. They also coordinate the CT State Amateur.   Round Robin tournaments are held in the spring (match play) and the Fall Cup in August/September.  Each member club must host a tournament at least once in two years a major once every 7-8 years.  HSRWGA last held a tournament (major) in 2006.

Send $10 check payable to SNEWGA to Lou Albrecht.  Books will be available in the clubhouse mid-April 2008.  Spring 2008 Meeting is April 12th at Stanley Golf Course Clubhouse.
